"The Saratoga Lake Protection and Improvement District (SLPID) has received a grant from the US Environmental Protection Agency Region 2 to prepare a Saratoga Lake/Watershed Protection Plan. This effort will include the updating of the 1983 Saratoga Lake Diagnostic Feasibility Study and Management Plan. Over the next two years, the Saratoga Lake Watershed Protection project will focus on working with the local governments located within the 240 square mile watershed area to implement strategies designed to improve and protect the water resources of this important area. Since 1983, much has changed in the concept of watershed and lake management. In recent years, Saratoga County has experienced significant changes in land use and development patterns. . ." More-->
